UNB, Cox’s Bazar :
Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 50,000 Yaba tablet at Ashabania in Teknaf upazila here early Friday.
Tipped off, a team of BGB conducted a drive in the area and seized a boat along with 50,000 pieces of Yaba tablets worth Tk 1.5 crore which were being
smuggled into the country from Myanmar at around 4:30 am, said commanding officer of BGB-42 Lieutenant Colonel Abu Jar Al Zahid.
Sensing presence of the BGB men, the smugglers fled the scene.
