A total of 5,000 doctors will be recruited through 39th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations under Bangladesh Public Service Commission.
Of them, 4,542 will be recruited as assistant surgeons, while 250 as assistant dental surgeons, Health Ministry sources said.
The officials of the ministry said that, the 39th BCS will be a “special” one for doctors.
Besides, PSC Chairman Mohammad Sadik said the 39th BCS will most probably be a special one for doctors and they are working on it.
