In separate drives members of Border Gourd Bangladesh (BGB)- 6 recovered Indian contraband materials from Darsona, Nastipur and Medinipur Border of Damurhuda Upazila in Chuadanga district yesterday.
Director of BGB – 6 Mohammad Khalakuzzaman said acting on secret information, a team of BGB personal conducted a drive in Jhajhadanga area in the morning and seized 365 bottle phansidyl syrup in several sacks. But the drug peddlers managed to escape from the spot. Sensing the presence of the B.G.B men. Nobody was arrested in this connection.
In another drive, BGB men camp of Medinipur launched a drive in Medinipur field area at 6.AM recovered 135 battle Indian wine in an abandoned condition.
