The much talked former magistrate of mobile court in the port city and now Managing Director of Milk Vita Ltd Munir Chowdhury administered oath to 50 Executive Magistrates of Chittagong district administration to conduct the mobile courts during Ramzan with honest and dedication.
He administered the oath to the magistrates at a workshop of executive magistrates on Saturday at Circuit house of Chittagong .
Chittagong district administration arranged the workshop aimed at sustaining the public health through conducting mobile court. Once Munir Chowdhury earned good reputation in conducting the mobile court in Chittagong and elsewhere in the country.
In the workshop, Munir Chowdhury said , crimes alleviation is not possible from the society if the real culprits are punished , so you should knock the door of the the criminals to remove any sorts of unfairmeans from the society. Munir Chowdhury depicted his previous experience of mobile courts against food adulteration and other crimes during his stay in Chittagong.
He said trend of deploying of mobile court against formalin in fruits , fishes etc is not the only solution and we should drive against the crimes of food adulteration, substandard food productions, medicare systems in hospitals, clinics, fake doctors, illegal occupation, environment pollution etc. He also urged upon the EMs to drive mobile court against the govt, autonomous bodies, influential political leaders and businessmen and the unscrupulous private entrepreneurs .
He also disclosed that during his tenure in Chittagong in conducting mobile court, he was given death threat many time and even shroud cloth (kafon cloth) was sent to me many times. Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Mesbahuddin inaugurated the workshop at 11 am. Among others, Additional Deputy commissioner (Rev) SM Abdul Kader , Additional Deputy Magistrate Saidur Rahman, Additional Deputy commissioner(Gen) Md. Elias Hossain and the Extective Magistrates participated the workshop.
