At least 50 people were injured following a clash between two rival groups at Jirunda village under Lakhai upazila of the district yestyerday morning.
Police said the clash broke out between two rival groups of the village over previous enmity.
As a sequel to enmity, both the groups equipped with lethal weapons attacked each other, leaving 50 people injured.
Of the injured, 11 persons were admitted to Habiganj Sadar hospital. The rest were given first aid.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control, said Office in-charge of Lakhai Thana Muzammel Haque.
