Fiver workers of a yarn factory in Ashulia suffered burn injuries as hot water fell on them early Friday.
The victims are dyeing in-charges Monir Hossain and Kalam, and operators Ramjan Ali, Nuru and Saju of One Thread (BD) Limited.
Reazur Rahman, managing director of the factory situated at Jamgora, said the five were releasing yarns from the dyeing machine in the night shift.
Accidentally, hot water of the dyeing machine fell on them after 12am, he said.
The injured were first taken to East West Medical College Hospital at Uttara in the capital where three of them – Ramjan, Nuru and Saju – were referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
