A court here on Wednesday sentenced five people to death for killing his mentally challenged woman in 2006.
Additional District and Session Judge Abu Zafar Mohammad Kamruzzaman sentenced Abdul Mazid, brother of the victim, Maminul Islam, Emdadul Islam,
Ariful Islam and Anwarul Islam-to death for killing Anjila Khatun.
According to the prosecution, convict Emdadul had an enmity with his neighbour Badsha Mia over a piece of land.
