A court in Chittagong convicted five accused with death penalty for killing Himadri Majumder alias Himu.
The court of 4th Additional Metropolitan session judge Nurul Islam pronounced this verdict on Sunday .
The judgment in this case was pronounced after four years.
The convicts are – Business personality Shah Selim Tipu, his son Junaid Ahmed Riad, friend of Riad Jahidur Rahman Shaon, Shahdat Hossain Saju and Mahbub Ali Dani. Counsel of the state PP Anupam Chakraborty confirmed the verdict to this correspondent yesterday.
