A case has been lodged on Tuesday morning against five youths for violating and attempt to violate a college girl, 18, at Jobarpar village under Bagda union in Agoiljhara upazila of Barishal.
After lodging the case police sent the victim cum complainant of the case to Barishal Sher E Bangla Medical College Hospital for medical test on Tuesday noon, said Golam Sarwar, Officer in Charge of Agoiljhara police station.
Sub-Inspector Toiabur Rahman, investigation officer of the case, quoting lodged allegation said on basis of previous friendship with Noyon Mandal, she went with him to visit local durga puja mandops on Saturday October 24 night.
At that time Nayon Mandol taking the college girl to an abandoned brick field violated her.
Some local youths after becoming aware about the incidents brought the both to a nearby school and locked both in separate rooms.
Then Imu, Sujon, Sumon and Parvez, local youths tried to violate the college girl again.
Hearing hue a cry local people rushed to the spot rescued the victim.
But the assaulters including Nayon Mandol managed to flee from the scene.
