The five university students, who were found involved with LSD drugs, were sent to the jail after completion of their five-day remand.
Magistrate Baki Billah of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka passed the order on Sunday.
The five students are Sirazus Salekin alias Topu, 24, S M Monwar Akib alias Anan, 20, Nazmus Sakib, 20, Saiful Islam alias Saif, 20, and Nazmul Islam, 24.
Earlier on May 31, the court placed the five students of a private university on a five-day remand each in a case filed on charges of being involved in the consumption and the sale of LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) drug.
