A mobile court of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) on Sunday fined five restaurants Taka 42 thousand for not maintaining cleanliness, hygienic environment and selling adulterated foods.
The team led by CCC executive magistrate Shanzida Shirmin fined the five restaurants in city’s different areas, including Bahaddarhat and Sirajdollah road.
The four restaurants were fined Taka 10 thousand each and another restaurant was fined Taka two thousand for not maintaining cleanliness and hygienic condition and selling adulterated foods.
