Five members of a family sustained burn injuries as a cooking gas cylinder exploded Thursday at the city’s South Keraniganj area.
The accident happened around 9pm in the Bhir Bagoir area. After rescuing, the injured were immediately taken to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
Officer-in-Charge of South Keraniganj police station, Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the number of injured in the accident but police couldn’t identify them yet.
