Five people died from coronavirus infections and 564 more infected with the virus in the last 24 hours, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said on Thursday.
“The death toll reached at 168 and the total number of infected are now stand at 7,667,” said Professor Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General (Administration) of DGHS, in a press briefing in Dhaka.
She said, total of 4,965 samples were tested in 29 laboratories across the country in the period.
Meanwhile, 10 more Covid-19 patients recovered from several hospitals across the country, taking the total recovery number to 160.
