Five more grassroots-level BNP leaders have been expelled from the party on charge of violating the party discipline.They are Brahmanbaria Sadar upazila unit BNP general secretary Nur-e-Alam Siddique, Rangamati district BNP joint general secretary Hazi Foyezul Azim, Chittagong North BNP joint general secretary Abu Taher, its member Nurul Mostafa Khokan and Sandwip Purasava BNP organising secretary M Abul Bashar.
A press release signed by BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Saturday said the BNP leaders were expelled from the party also for their involvement in the activities against the interest of the party.
Earlier, the party expelled a good number of grassroots-level leaders for disputes mainly over the upazila polls.
