Thousands of allured people victimised: 5 MLM cos flee with Tk 100 cr

Some five online multi-level marketing companies (MLMs) have fled with about Tk 100 crore from the accounts of several thousand depositors.
Many field level officials have left their parental residences to hide the eyes of general clients.
The companies are Affari Track Limited, Skylancer.com, Dulencer.com, B.D. Click.com and Quick Pay.com.
They convinced the number of the public saying that one could earn Tk 10,000 to 15,000 per month in an hour from own residences by only clicking on advertisements of some foreign companies. The company officials said that they had contact with a good number of foreign companies, including Amazon.
The clients would be trained with spoken English and about IT sector without any fee. But before doing it, interested persons would have to follow some methods–filling up form– opening an ID paying Tk 7,500 in their web sides. Being allured by those, thousands of people opened IDs, paying Tk 7,500 each. At first they were paid commission. Later, the authorities of companies fled away with the balance amount of the clients’ money. Some clients of Affari Track.com alleged the authorities of company escaped with their deposited money, amounting to Tk 24 crore a few months ago. It was able to sell 30,000 IDs. Many opened one to 50 IDs. They (Authorities) claimed that they had their contact with Amazon Company, an international manufacturing company. The clients were offered 10 per cent extra payment if they could add new clients.
But few months ago, the office of the company at West Panthpath was found locked, the clients said.
