Jhenaidah Correspondent :Five assailants participated in the Harinakundu Clinic owner Nazrul Islam killing incident. The miscreants were wearing lungi and mask, but no shirt at the time of killing mission. Four of them were holding fire arms and the other a Ramda (big sword). The information about the killers was detailed from lone witness Abdullah who was with Nazrul then.As per the statement of Abdullah, he along with Nazrul was returning to his village home at Tiordah in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadangadistrict from his business spot at Harinakundu. The miscreants who were staying with the arms, opened shots on him when he was driving his motorbike at about 3.00 PM. Both of them fell down from the bike and the killers killed Nazrul by hacking.Family sources of the deceased said, Nazrul’s brother Akteruzzaman filed a case with Alamdanga police station accussing six persons of his village. The police till Wednesday afternoon could not arrest any one of the killers from Sunday afternoon. Nazrul Islam was running a clinic titled Anwara Clinic at Harinakundu upazila Sadar and he had another clinic at Sarojgaj Bazer under Chuadanga Sadar upazila.Alamdanaga police station officer in charge said, Sub-Inspector Mohammad Russsel of the police station was investigating the murder case. The special branch of police (SB) said, there was a number of abduction cases against Nazrul. He had a close connection with the terrorist groups in the locality.
