Five persons including four members of a family have been killed in a road accident in Mulibari rail crossing area on the western side of the Bangabandhu Bridge in Sirajganj early Tuesday. The deceased were identified as Abdur Razzak, 60, Rojina Khatun, 16, Mamata, 24, wife of Jabbar, and a auto-rickshaw driver Arman, 30. Sources said that the family member consisting of 5 people were returning home by a CNG-run auto-rickshaw from Sirajganj General Hospital after treatment. Then, a passenger bus hit the passenger laden auto rickshaw in the area around 1:00am Tuesday, leaving four dead on the spot and injured two others. Later, the injured were rushed to Sirajganj General Hospital where the auto rickshaw driver died under treatment. Sirajganj Police Super Miraj Uddin said that a case will be filed in this connection.
