UNB, Habiganj :At least five people including a woman, were killed and 16 others injured when a bus and a human hauler collided head-on on the Habiganj-Sayestaganj road at Dhuliakhal Amtoli in sadar uapzila on Saturday.Of the deceased, three were identified as Jesmin Akhter, 16, a garment worker and daughter of Sanjay Bali, Shamsu Mia,50, son of late Shamar Uddin of North Sangor in Baniachong upazila, and Kitish Das, a resident of East Bholla of Lakhai uapzila.Police said, the accident took place in the area around 6:30 am when a Sylhet-bound bus of ‘Birotihin Paribahan’ service from Habiganj collided head-on with a human hauler coming from the opposite direction, leaving three people killed on the spot and 16 others injured.The injured were rushed to Habiganj sadar hospital where two more victims died later.
