Five children, among six people, were killed in a shooting rampage at a Muskogee residence, Oklahoma on Tuesday morning.
Muskogee police officers responded to a call of multiple people shot in a house at around 1:30am local time, reports Independent UK. When police arrived at the scene, they found a suspect holding a gun, who was shot at by one of the police officers. The shot missed, but the suspect was taken into custody immediately, reports USA Today. Police found one man and four children dead at the scene.
An injured child and a woman were brought to a hospital in Tulsa for medical attention.
The injured child later died from the injuries. But the injured woman is still being treated at the hospital, police said.
The names of the victims or the suspect have not been released yet. Police are still investigating the incident.
