BSS, Chittagong :
Chittagong district police arrested five activists of Jamaat-Shibir in an overnight drive from Sitakunda and Lohagara upazilas of the district on Monday night.
Three of the arrested were identified as Azizul Hoque, 50, his son Shah Jahan, 18 and Mohammad Belal Uddin. They were arrestd from Lohagara upazila.
All the detainees were allegedly involved in subversive activities including arson and vandalism on Dhaka-Chittagong highway and Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highwa, police said.
