Police have arrested five Jamaat activists from different drives in Moheshpur upazilas of the district on Thursday .
The arrestees are Nur Islam, Sabbir Ahmed, Azizul Islam, Shukur Ali and Tofazzel Hossain.
SP Altaf Hossain of Jhenidah said, on Thursday morning at around 5-30 am police launched a drive at different places of the town of Moheshpur upazila and arrested the Jamaat activists.
There are some cases against the arrestees. The arrested were sent to jail-hazat the SP added.
