At least five persons were injured when a boiler of a factory exploded in the city’s Shyampur area on Saturday afternoon.
The victims were identified as Billal, 28, Enamul, 40, Mujibur 32, Mizan and Rubel, 14, Wazed Ali, Officer-in-Charge of Kadamtali Police Station said.
The injured were admitted to the Burn Unit of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), the police official said.
The OC said, “The incident took place when a gas cylinder was blasted at an aluminium factory in the area.”
