Activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) allegedly attacked the district BNP office at Chota Bazar in the district town on Friday noon, leaving five people injured.
District BNP president Ashrafuddin Khan said a group of BCL men swooped on their office at around 12 noon a when a programme marking the ‘National Solidarity and Revolution Day’ was in progress there.
The attackers vandalised furniture and ransacked valuable documents that also left five party men injured.
The injured include district Tanti Dal president Abdul Aziz and Jubo Dal leader Anwar Parvez.
Meanwhile, Inspector (Investigation) of Netrakona Model Police Station Abu Taher said a group of rowdy people launched the attack on the BNP office.
