The members of RAB-8 arrested 5 persons with two human traffickers from Horidaspur Power plant square under Sadar Upazila of Gopalgonj district on Wednesday.
RAB also rescued 10 persons as they were being taking to India from Bangladesh by the arrested persons.
Rab -8 sources said, on getting secret information Rab members led by Mohammad Nure Alom Additional police super raided the highway Bus in Horidaspur Power plant square under Sadar Upazila of Gopalgonj district at 1 pm on Wednesday and arrested 5 persons .
Of them, two were Human traffickers and three persons were Indian citizen .The arrested persons were identified as Sojol Biswas(53) son of sohodev Biswas of village Singa under Kasiany of Gopalgong district , Md Azahar Mia @ Akas (30), son of Abdul Matbor of village Dumsar under Palong thana of Sharaitpur district (Human traffickers), Rina Sarkar (30)wife of Ronojit Sarkar of village Sardapolli (Hudua) under dhantola of Nodia district , Kanu Ray (27)daughter of Bivision Royof village Poarkrisna under Bagda thana of North 24 Porgona district and Sefali Biswas (51)wife of Noren biswas of village domdom under lake town thana of kokata 24 Porgona district as Indian intruders .
On the other hand, 10 persons, rescued by Rab members from the clue of human traffickers were : Sova Bain (31), wife of Susanto bain of JolirPar area unde Muksudpur thana of Gopalgong and her two daughters Jui Bain(7) and Ritu Bain(3), Milton biswas (32), son of lakhon biswas of village singa under Kasiani thana of gopalgong district ,IndroJit Biswas (26) Lipon Bisas(24) son of Juran Biswas of village Patkelbari under Muksudpur thana of Gopalgong ,Bablu Mandol(170 son of bromoth Mandolof Village Rathbari under Rajoir thana of Madaripur District ,Asutosh Biswas (46)son of Aditto Biswas of Village VennaBari under Gopalgong ,Keshob Biswas (35), son of late Kalipodo Biswas of Village Charpukuria under Kotalipara of Gopalgong and Rothindra Biswas (64)joges Chandra Biswas of village Basudevpur under Muksudpur thana of Gopalgong district .
RAB recovered 2500 Indian Rupi , one Indian voter identity card from r Rina Sarkar ,Indian intruder and tk 30,500 from Sojol ,human trafficke
Separate cases were filed under concern section of penal code, source added.
