Police rounded up five drug peddlers from North Patenga in city yesterday morning . After searching their bodies, 1000 yaba tablets recovered from them. The detained drug peddlers are Taslim Morshed, Ziaur Rahman, Ariful Islam and Md. Abdur Rahim. SI of Patenga thana Monirul Islam told that after sensing the secret tipoff, police conducted raid in the area and managed to apprehend them with yabas. A case under Narcotics act was filed with the concerned police station, sources said.
