SYLHET: Five dwelling houses were gutted in a fire at Raipur village in Bishwanathpur upazila on Thursday night. Fire Service sources said the fire originated from an electric short-circuit at the house of Abdul Haq around 7:30 pm and it soon engulfed the adjoining houses. On information, a firefighting unit rushed in and doused the flame after two hours. Six people were injured while trying to put out the blaze, reports UNB.
