Five students of the Dhaka University conferred with ‘Bangabandhu Scholarship-2016’.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique handed over the scholarship cheque among the students recently while addressing as the chief guest at the Hall auditorium.
Senior Journalist and Editor of the Daily Sangbad Abed Khan gave lecture at the function while Business Studies Faculty Dean Professor Shibli Rubayatul Islam was attended as the guest of honour. Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall Provost Professor M Mafizur Rahman chaired the function.
The scholarship recipients are Ahmad Reza of Islamic Studies department, Abdur Rahman Muhammad Tamim of International Relations (IR), Imam Hasan Saurov of Finance, M Nahid Hasan of Tourism and Hospitality Management and M Abdur Rahim of Social Welfare and Research Institute.
