A 5-day exhibition of branded clothing, cosmetics and fashion products started yesterday in city’s Emmanuell’s Banquet Hall.
Over 35 companies are participating in the exhibition titled “7th Bangladesh Fashion Carnival 2016.” It will continue till August 21, said a press release yesterday.
Ahmed Imtiaz, one of the organizer said they have organized the event aiming to showcase quality products ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
He said imitation jewelry, salwar-kameez and sarees are the salient features of the exhibition.
Another organizer Fatema said this exhibition will encourage local manufacturers and producers to export their goods to foreign markets.
The expo will remain open for visitors from 10am to 9.30pm.
