Staff Reporter :Five countries have shown their keen interest to send observers in Bangladesh during the city corporation election which will be held in Dhaka and Chittagong on April 28.The countries are the United States of America, Canada, Germany, Sweden and Japan. These countries did not send observers during the January 5 parliamentary election last year.India and Bhutan were the countries to respond to the Election Commission (EC)’s request for sending observers. The EC invited a large number of countries from Asia, Europe and North America in this connection.
