Police recovered at least five dead bodies from several districts in the country on Tuesday.
In Barishal, Police recovered two bodies from Babuganj upazila of the district on Tuesday noon.
Local sources said that a youth named Riazul Uddin Sardar, 37, was found dead in the pond water of Chandpasha Taltola area of the upazila on Tuesday noon. Riazul was son of one Shamsul Haque, a resident of Motashar Colony of Barishal.
Meanwhile, the body of Mokbul Hossen Jomadar, 60, was recovered from a pond of Lakutia Bazar area of Barishal Sadar Upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC-Investigation) of Airport Police Station Abdur Rahman Mukul confirmed the matter to the media.
In Patuakhali, police recovered the hanging body of a fisherman from cross dam area in West Kuakata of the district on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Al Amin, 28, son of Abdur Razzaq, a resident in Pairakunj area under Mirzaganj upazila.
Police recovered the body in the morning and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.
An unnatural death case was filed with Mahipur Police Station in this connection.
In Sunamganj, police recovered the dead body of an youth from a Haor of Sohitpur village under Satok upazila of the district on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Tarek Ahamed, 17, son of one Mojibur Rahman of South Sunamgang.
Aminul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Satok Police Station confirmed the matter to the media.
In Madaripur, Police recovered a dead body of a girl named Mou Doutta,22, from a local private nursing college in Eterpur area of the district town.
Lutfar Rahman, Sub-Inspector of Model Police Station confirmed the news to the media. In Narayanganj, Police recovered a dead body of house wife, named Hasiba Akter Rita, 24, from Port city on Tuesday noon.
