Five activists of the district unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has been suspended in connection with a factional clash on January 4, the founding anniversary of BCL.
The suspended BCL activists are GM Siraji Mizan, Saurav Chandra Das, Khalid Siraji Rocky, Mahabub Alam and Saddam Hossain, said a press release of the BCL central committee on Monday.
On January 4, two groups of district unit BCL locked into an altercation over holding a rally marking the 68th founding anniversary which left 10 pedestrians injured.
