A case was filed on Monday against five Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leaders in connection with a clash between two factions of BCL over establishing supremacy in Baluchar area of the city on Sunday night.
Officer-in charge of Shah Poran Police Station Nizam Uddin Chowdhury said Manowar Hossain, a leader of BCL, filed the case against Monjur Ahmed, Ranjon, Joynal, Arif and Sayem.
Earlier, 10 activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) were bullet-injured in a clash between its two factions over establishing supremacy in Baluchar area. The injured were admitted to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.
