Bangladesh Awami League has suspended five rebel candidates for not obeying the decision of AL regarding union parishad election .
The suspended AL leaders are : Shamim Ahmed, Vice President of Borni Union AL, Sahab Uddin, GS of Dakhin Shahbazpur Union, Sunam Uddin, publication secretary of Barlekha Upazila AL, Nazrul Islam, President of Barlekha Upazila AL and Mohi Uddin Ahmed, member of Dakhinbag Union AL.
They are independent candidate of UP chairman in their own Union under Barlekha Upazila.
Adv Mishbah Uddin Siraj, Organizing Secretary of central AL’s confirmed the matter to The New Nation on Friday.
He said, some AL leaders worked against organisation. They dropped nomination papers without approvals of AL authorities. In this cause we took decision.
