Police Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police reshuffled the postings of the 5 Assistant Police commissioners including much talked important role player in curbing crimes AC Abdur Rouf.
At the same five Inspectors also transferred internally. CMP commissioner signed this transfer order on Saturday night, a reliable sources said. Additional Police commissioner (Admn & Traffic) AKM Sahidur Rahman confirmed the news of transfer to this reporter yesterday morning. Among the transferees , Kotwali Zone ACP Md. Abdur Rouf transferred to Ctg Airport Immigration branch
ACP of DB police Md. Moinuddin transferred to Kotwali zone . ACP (Immigration) Md. Kamruzzaman transferred to DB police , north zone. ACP (Port) Anowar hossain transferred in Traffic Department and Traffic ACP Faizul Hoque transferred in Bandar zone.
Mentionable that ACP Abdur Rauf played important role in CMP since his joining including detection of gold house dacoity in the city within 48 hours recently.
He first joined Panchalaish zone as ACP, sources said. At the same five Inspectors of CMP was reshuffled at the same time. Earlier on Thursday, five Officer incharges were also transferred internally , sources said.
