Fourth Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Outreach Program held at Digital Classroom, Daffodil International University (DIU) on Tuesday organized by Internet Society (ISOC) Bangladesh Dhaka Chapter.
President of Internet Society (ISOC) Bangladesh Dhaka Chapter Prof Dr Shabbir Ahmed, Vice-President Md. Jahangir Hossain, General Secretary Mohammad Kawsar Uddin, Treasurer Md. Abdul Awal, Joint Director, IT of DIU Md. Nadir Bin Ali and Secretary General of Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF) MA Haque Anu spoke at the workshop. Along with others ISOC Bangladesh Dhaka Chapter members and students from Department of CSE and some other faculties of Daffodil International University participated at the workshop.
Goal, objectives and activities of Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Outreach Program along with the benefits of being its member are broadly discussed during the workshop. It has been informed that many more opportunities like fellowship, training, leadership, and grants are mostly waiting for IT graduates. There was a bold discussion on the issue of participating in the `IETF 100 Singapore’ conference from Bangladesh on November 11-17, 2017.
