The 4th death anniversary of renowned sports journalist and former general secretary of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Al Mosabbir Saadi will be observed in city today (Wednesday).
Bangladesh Sports Journalist Association (BSJA) has arranged Quaran Khani in the morning and Doa Mahfil after Zohr prayer at the Paltan Maidan Jame Masjid for Al Mosabbir Saadi Pommel, who was also a senior member of BSJA.
Al Mosabbir Saadi Pommel was expired on May 20 in 2011 at age of only 44 years at the Square Hospital in the capital after suffering from cancer.
Pommel worked as sports journalist in Daily Independent and the Daily Star for long time and wrote books on little master Sachin Tendulkar and legendary cricketer Brian Lara.
The BSJA, in a press release on Tuesday, requested all concerned to attend the Doa Mahfil
