Chittagong Bureau :A intellectuals rally was arranged at No.22 Ward area in the Chittagong City Corporation in observance of the fourth year anniversary of the mayor and councilor election . City Mayor graced the occasion as chief guest. City Mayor in his deliverations presented a brief statistics of the development work in the No.22 ward involving Tk.9 crores in 41 projects under the ward areas. He mentioned the reexcavation of DC road, double soiling work in inner lane and bylanes, bitumen pitch of road, culvert construction, new ward office construction, drain reexcavation, retaining wall construction, deep tube well digging etc. He also mentioned the work under Private Public partnership activities on poverty alleviation programs in last 4 years where involved about Tk.36 cr. City mayor disclosed these while addressing the intellectuals rally arranged at Railway Hospital colony high school auditorium recently . Councilor MA Malek presided over it. Chief Executive Officer of CCC Ali Ahmed graced the occasion special guest.
