A 49-member contingent will represent Bangladesh in the 4th Asian Beach Games to be held in the Thai tourist town of Phuket on November 14-23.
President of Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation (BTTF) Mohammad Abdul Karim has been named as the chef-de-mission of Bangladesh contingent, which comprises 33 athletes, and 16 team and contingent officials.
Leading Asian athletes will battle for 169 gold medals in 26 disciplines of sports at seven different beach venues.
Bangladesh will compete in seven beach sports — Athletics, Marathon Swimming, Basketball, Handball, Kabaddi (Men’s & Women’s), Volleyball, and Wrestling
