48 jungle pirates surrendered

Some 48 jungle pirates including their ring leaders belonging to 6 different notorious jungle pirates of the Sundarban forest have so far surrendered to the Home Minister and RAB ceremonially along with 117 fire arms and 6 thousand 5 hundred 28 ammunitions on Monday.
The last gang of jungle pirates is Khoka Babu Bahini. Some 12 members including their leader Kabirul Islam alias Khoka Babu belonging to this gang of jungle pirates ceremonially surrendered to the Home Minister Asaduszzaman Khan at RAB-8 headquarters in Barisal on November 27 along with 22 fire arms and 1003 ammunitions. They are Kabirul Islam alias Khoka Babu (33), Aminur Islam (32), Md. Shahjahan Gazi (30), Md. Abdul Aziz (44). Md. Mizanur Rahman (36), Md. Rabiul Islam (25), Md. Osman Gani (33), Md. Rafikul Gazi (33), Md. Yasin Ali Gazi (25), Md. Mohidul Islam (33), Md. Mujibor Rahman (38) and Md. Kalam (36).
On November 28, Liakat Ali, DAD, RAB-8 lodged a case with Mongla PS (in Bagerhat district) ageist those 12 jungle pirates under Arms Act. On November 29 in the morning they were brought the judge of Senior Judicial Magistrate Court, Bagerhat and the judge Gautam Mallik sent them to jail hajat
It may be mentioned here that on September 07 some 14 jungle pirates belonging to Alam-Shanta Bahini surrendered along with 20 fire arms and 596 ammunitions. On July 14 some 11 jungle pirates belonging to Majnu-Ilias Bahini along with 25 fire arms and 1020 ammunitions to RAB and at first on May 31 some 10 jungle pirates belonging to Master Bahini, the biggest gang of jungle pirates surrendered to the Home Minister along with 52 fire arms and 4500 rounds ammunitions with the promise that they gave up the piracy and wanted to normal life.
