Bangladesh Truck-Covered Van, Tank Lorry Owners-Workers Coordinating Council has announced a 48-hour strike on September 27-28 across the country.
The leaders said the Central Coordinating Council has put forward a 10-point demand to the government in the interest of moving the country forward on the path of prosperity by avoiding unreasonable decisions of various forms of oppression in the transport sector considering the current Corona epidemic situation. If the demand is not met, a 48-hour strike has been announced across the country on September 27-28.
In support of the program, a discussion meeting was held at the Kadamtali Abul Khair Market premises in the city on Saturday. It is chaired by the convener of the Coordination Council Chittagong Regional Committee Nurul Abshar. Member Secretary of Bangladesh Road Transport Owners Association Commodity Transport Division Abdul Mannan was the chief guest at the meeting conducted by Federation leaders Emdadul Haque and Abul Bahar.
