Tuba Group Sangram Committee has given a 48-hour ultimatum to the Labor Minister to pay all dues and reopen the Tuba Group factories.The leaders of Tuba Group Sangram Committee gave the ultimatum from a demonstration program in front of the National Press Club in the capital on Sunday.Bangladesh Garment Federation Unity President Moshrefa Mishu said that the authority will have to pay all arrears of workers before closing the factories. She added that no gross development in the country would be reached in the optimum point by closing the factories. She further said that the owner authorities of the factories have no right to play of luck of the ill-fated workers.Trade union leader Jahirul Islam said, “If all the demands are not fulfilled, we will press home it through tough movement including hartal”.Trade union leaders Yeasin Ali, Joli Talukdar, Mohammad Ali, Taslima Akhter, among others, spoke on the occasion.
