The number of the first dose recipient citizens of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 45,67,715 with the inoculation of 44,781 more citizens with the first dose of the jab today in Rangpur division.
“Among 44,781 new first dose recipients, 20,290 were inoculated with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 24,371 with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab and 120 with Pfizer Covid-19 jab today,” Divisional Director (Health) Dr Md Motaharul Islam told BSS at 6:45 pm.
The total first dose recipient 45,67,715 citizens include 13,48,844 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 30,86,650 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 vaccine and 372 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. Meanwhile, the number of the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine recipient citizens rose to 21,03,423 with inoculation of more 24,080 people with the second dose of the jab today in the division.
Among the 24,080 new second dose recipient citizens, 285 were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine and 23,795 others with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine today. “The total second dose recipient 21,03,423 citizens include 5,43,106 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 14,36,358 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab and 1,23,959 others with Moderna Covid-19 jab in the division,” Dr Islam added.
