Initiative of Japanese woman photographer: 45 disadvantaged girl students receive stipend

When the girl students were facing severe financial hardship to continue their education, a Japanese woman photographer has extended her hands to stand by them.
The sale proceeds of the 88 year old Heroka Kobayishi’s photos and flower has been contributed for the study expenses of 45 girls that have been encouraging the girl students go ahead ignoring the financial constraints.
Anjuman Akter, Programme Director of a non-governmental organization Hunger Free World informed, Heroka Kobayishi is professionally a photographer. She maintains her life with the sale proceeds of her photographs and flower. As she loves the people of Bangladesh, proposed to take the responsibility of study of a number of under privileged girls students studding at school, college and university level through the organization.
Anjuman said, Heroka Kobayishi was born in a poor family in Japan which determined her to serve for the ailing community, especially the women. As a part of her desire, she has been maintaining the expenses of the girls students at Roygram village of Kaliganj in Jhenaidah. To witness the progress Heroka Kobayishi visits Bangladesh and meet the girls with motherly blessings, Anjuman said.
Hafizur Rahman, in-charge of stipend programme of the organization said, Jhumura Khatun, Arjufa Khatun, Pritilata Biswas, Afroza Parveen, Shahana Khatun, Soma Rani, Bithi Khatun, Pinky Khatun, Puspa Rani Biswas, Jolly Khatun, Bijoli Khatun, Sumi Khatun, Anamika Sarker, Shila Khatun, Fazana Akter, Srity Biswas, Rahima Khatun, Nargis Khatun, Shantana Yesmin, Madhabilata Biswas, Shohagi Khatun, Maleka Khatun, Shantana Khatun, Akhi Khatun and Farafi Nusrat studying in university and college level.
Further, Bina Khatun, Shampa Khatu, Brishti Khatun, Jinia Khatun, Kanika Khatun, Hafiza Khatun, Arpita Khatun, Tamanna Khatun, Hira Khatun, Rupali Khatun, Nazmin Khatun, Mukta Khatun, Sharmin Akter, Hosne Ara, Barsha Khatun, Rimi Khatun, Shewly Rani, Swapna Biswas, Chameli Khatun, Mallika Biswas and Nasrin Akter have been studying in school level with the stipend assistances.
Soma Rani Das, a student of engineering section in Jessore polytechnic institute said, huge girl students who even did not imagine for education in outside the village started sighting ray of hope.
Jhumura Kahtun of Balakandar village said, she has been studying in Jessore Government Women’s College, while Pritilata, Arjufa and others in Jhenaidah government Degree College with the blessings of Heroka Kobayishi.
