Two candidates have been expelled for adopting unfair means in the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Preliminary Test.
They were expelled from Rangpur College Centre and Khulna Govt College Boyra Centre on Friday (May 27).
Public Service Commission (PSC) examination controller Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed it.
He said the test was held across the country peacefully. “We’ve received any information of expulsion from anywhere of the country except Rangpur and Khulna incidents,” he said.
The 44th BCS Preliminary Test started at 10:00am and continued till 12:00noon on Friday. The test was held at 250 centres of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur and
Mymensingh simultaneously. There were 3,50,716 candidates against 1,710 posts this time. However, 73,956 were absent at the test centres.
A total of 2,76,760 candidates took part in the test, and the rate of participation in the test was 78.91 per cent.
