Dhaka South City Corporation (DNCC) has evicted 447 illegal temporary shops at Hawkers Market on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital. The eviction drive was carried out by the DSCC’s mobile court on Sunday (May 8) morning.
The eviction campaign was carried out under the leadership of DSCC estate officer Muniruzzaman.
In this context, the estate officer Muniruzzaman told The New Nation that the eviction drive has been carried out since morning. So far we have evicted 447 illegal shops.
DSCC illegal eviction is an ongoing process. Such illegal installations will continue to be evicted in the future as well, Muniruzzaman added.
