A case has been filed against 43 people in connection with the killing of a policeman in a mass beating at Noail Raisdia in Sonargaon upazila on Wednesday.
Manjur Quader, Officer-in-Charge of Sonargaon Police Station, said police filed the case against 7-8 identified and 35 unidentified people at night.
Earlier, Arifuzzaman Khan, a constable of Sonargaon Police Station and son of late Bazlul Khan of Manikganj district, was killed in a mass beating after an alleged drug trader drowned in a pond during a anti-narcotics drive at Noail Raisdia in Sonargaon upazila headquarters on Wednesday.
