41 rivers marked rise, 36 fall

Water levels in 41 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 36 stations recorded fall. Among the 84 monitored water level stations, three are above danger level, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Tuesday.
All the major river systems are in rising trend.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna and Surma-Kushiyara river systems may fall in next 48 hours.
The Ganges-Padma river systems may rise in the next 48 hours.
A total of 144.5 mm rainfall was recorded at Teknaf, 52 mm at Chandpur, 65 mm in Dhaka and 46.8 mm in Mymensingh.
