The Karanaphuli Gas Distribution Company Ltd has been launching drive against the illegal use of pipeline gas in the port city.
As a part of the drive , the team disconnected 41 residential connections at Hathazari,Sholoshahar and Kornelhat area on Sunday.
The drive continued from 11.00 am to 4 pm.
During the drive, gas connection have been disconnected for alleged use of gas commercially approved for residential plan and regular case have been filed against the user according to existing law.
The vigilance team was led by Asst. Manager Abdul Malek of KGDCL and Engr. Alamgir Hossain.
