About 41 patients have been detected with Dengue virus in one day at port city on Monday. Out of these, 15 detected at Chattogram Medical college Hospital and 26 at other private clinics.
Deputy Director of CMCH Dr. Akhtarul Islam and the Civil Surgeon of Chattogram Dr. Azizur Rahman Siddiqui confirmed the matter of detection to media persons . Civil surgeon office sources said about 102 Dengue patients so far detected in Chattogram upto Monday .
CCC launches free dengue test : Free dengue test programme has been launched under Chattogram City Corporation’s Health Department.CCC Mayor AJM Nasir has inaugurated the program on Monday morning at Chattogram City Corporation General Hospital.Under this program dengue identifying test NS1, CBC and Platelet will be conducted from 9 am to 8 pm every day.
Mayor said that CCC launched Crash Program against dengue. In order to protect and make aware the citizens from the outbreak and transmission of dengue disease, CCC already distributed leaflets, mass announcement and media advertisement and spray also has been provided to 41 wards.Also mayor urged to keep clean everyone’s houses, schools and colleges.
CCC Education, Health Standing Committee Chairman Councilor Najmul Haque Duke, Councilors Hasan Murad Biplob and Tarek Soleman Selim, CCC Health Department head Health Officers Dr Selim Akter Chowdhury and Dr Md Ali were also present at the program, among others.
