A total of 409 Bangladeshi nationals, who were stranded in Jeddah of Saudi Arabia due to coronavirus pandemic, returned home on Friday morning.
A chartered flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Bangladeshis landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 8:50 am.
Tahera Khandaker, deputy general manager (public relations) of the national flag carrier, confirmed the matter to the media.
She also said the returnees were not sent to quarantine as they had Covid-19 test certificates with them.
